Lisa D. Zack, M.D.

Dr. Zack opened her practice Florida Coastal Dermatology, and has been a resident of Naples since 1989.

She received her Fellowship in Mohs Micrographic and Dermatologic Surgery from the University of Pennsylvania.

She is an Associate Professor at the University of Miami where she has taught Dermatology residents reconstructive surgery.

Dr. Zack is a diplomate of the American Board of Dermatology and is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology, American Society of Dermatologic Surgery, Florida Society of Dermatologic Surgeons, Noah Worchester Society, Collier County Medical Society, American College of Mohs Surgery and Past President of the Florida Society of Dermatology and Dermatologic Surgery.


 

Brad T. Kovach, M.D.

Dr. Kovach graduated from Johns Hopkins University, followed by Vanderbilt University School of Medicine, served his internship at the Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, and completed his residency at Vanderbilt University Medical Center.

Dr. Kovach received his Fellowship in Mohs Micrographic and Dermatologic Surgery from Washington University in St. Louis.

Dr. Kovach is a Diplomate of the American Board of Dermatology and is a member of The American Academy of Dermatology, American Society of Dermatologic Surgery, International Transplant-Skin Cancer Collaborative, American College of Mohs Surgery and The Collier County Medical Society.

 

 


 

Hillary Cachet, PA-C

Ms. Hillary Cachet is a licensed Physician Assistant and board certified through the NCCPA. She is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants, the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants, the Florida Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants and Florida Academy of Physician Assistants.

Ms. Cachet received her Bachelor of Science in Business Management from the Sykes College of Business at the University of Tampa. While studying at UT, she worked as a Medical Assistant to a plastic surgeon who specialized in plastic and reconstructive surgery, hand surgery, and non-surgical cosmetic procedures and enhancements. After graduation, Hillary coursed her business career specializing in global project management and logistics, holding various management positions in corporate business settings during this career chapter. Knowing that she wanted to return to medicine to realize a passion-centered life, she resigned from her corporate career and started her graduate studies at Barry University where she was granted her Masters in Clinical Medical Science, Physician Assistant degree.

Ms. Cachet specializes in medical and cosmetic dermatology and has a passion for dermatology especially as it relates to the underlying pathology of skin manifestations.

While her focus is on dermatology, Hillary is mostly concerned with her patients’ overall health and well-being.

Hillary enjoys weight training, traveling, cooking, yoga, personal development, and meditation.


 

Kristen McLaughlin, PA-C

Kristen McLaughlin was born and raised in Livingston, NJ. She received her undergraduate Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology with a minor in Fine and Performing Arts from St. Joseph’s University in Philadelphia. Prior to her medical career, she had almost a decade of experience in sales and marketing in the pharmaceutical industry. However, after a successful career in business, she found her true calling to be in medicine. She began her medical training at the Philadelphia College Of Osteopathic Medicine in Philadelphia, PA where she earned a Master of Physician Assistant Studies. The majority of her training was done at the University of Pennsylvania and the surrounding Philadelphia hospitals and NYC suburbs. Prior to moving to Naples, she and her husband Daniel resided in Mt. Laurel, NJ.

She began her career in Internal Medicine but found her true passion was skincare and dermatology. She has spent several years in general dermatology and has an interest in treating all skin related disorders with a strong interest in Psoriasis, Acne, and Eczema. Kristen had additional dermatology training in aesthetic procedures where she has trained with world-class injectors and thought leaders in the cosmetic industry. She has had advanced training in dermal fillers and neuromodulators as well as chemical peels, PRP, and micro-needling. Her previous experience in the pharmaceutical industry has allowed her to fully understand the process of getting products to patients. She strives to help all patients gain access to any and all of the correct medications they need in order to get the proper treatment. She believes in treating the whole person and considers all patients as part of her family. She is a current member of the FSPDA, FAPA, SDPA, and helped to initiate and organize the Southwest Florida Dermatology Journal Club for local Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants.

She likes to volunteer in the local community at Justin’s Place which is part of the St. Matthew’s House Shelter and feels it is important to be active in the community in which we live. She spends her free time at home with her 2 children Alex and John and their family Brussels Griffon. On the weekends she loves to watch live theater or take a local dance or art class.


 

Gia Edge, ARNP

Gia Edge is a native of Cape Cod, Massachusetts. She came to southwest Florida to attend Florida Gulf Coast University where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree (2009) and Master of Science in Nursing degree (2015). Gia is board certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) as a family nurse practitioner.

Gia worked for Fresenius Medical Care for nearly a decade, starting as a dialysis technician while working her way through nursing school and eventually practicing as an registered nurse (RN). She spent 6 years working in the emergency department as a registered nurse for both Lee Health and NCH.

Being a three time melanoma survivor, Gia found her passion for dermatology and has worked in the field since 2016 treating a wide variety of dermatological conditions, detecting skin cancers, and providing cosmetic dermatology services. Gia is dedicated to educating her patients and the community of the importance of skin cancer prevention and screening.

Gia has served the community as a preceptor to nursing and medical students in the area. She is a member of the Golden Key International Honour Society, Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing, American Association of Nurse Practitioners, Florida Nurses Association, The Nurse Practitioners of Lee County, The National Academy of Dermatology Nurse Practitioners, Dermatology Nurses Association, and American Nurses Association.


 

Megan DeSelms, PA-C

Megan DeSelms, PA-C was born in Pensacola, Florida and was raised in the panhandle until age 12, when she relocated with her family to the Seattle, Washington area. She married her high school sweetheart and his military career took them around the country for a few years until they settled in Central Washington. She completed most of her undergraduate schooling at Central Washington University in Ellensburg, studying Fine Art and Graphic Design initially before transitioning to PA pre-requisites, while working as an ABO-certified Optician and as a family practice Medical Assistant. She completed her Physician Assistant training at the University of Washington School of Medicine’s MEDEX PA program, graduating as a Dean’s List student in 2010. The majority of her clinical rotations were completed at Madigan Army Medical Center in Tacoma, WA.

Megan has experience in both Primary Care and Dermatology, with a passion for treating patients across the age spectrum. Her art and design experience and training give her a unique eye for aesthetics and she enjoys performing cosmetic procedures to help her patients look and feel their best. Megan is a member and Diplomate Fellow of the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants (SDPA). She returned to Florida in 2019 after tiring of the two seasons in Central Washington (snow and wildfires).

She has been married to her husband, Tim, for over two decades, and they have raised two children to adulthood. They also spent several years as foster parents, and have added a sibling set of twin boys and their younger sister to the family through adoption. In addition to her work as a Dermatology PA, Megan is also an accomplished professional calligrapher, engraver, and graphic designer through her small business, Inked Romance Calligraphy & Design.
